Yoga brings peace…

​

I started practicing yoga to heal my back pain, and received so much more.  I gained flexibility and strength in my body. Focusing on breath and movement allowed me to clear my mind and feel more at peace. Then I realized, the flexibility, strength and peace I felt while on my mat began to permeate all aspects of my life.

I enjoy the physical as well as the emotional benefits of the practice, especially the ability to “quiet the chatter” of my mind.

​

Yoga helps me to experience peace within myself, which allows me to live a more peaceful life. My hope is to be able to share the gift of yoga with others. I agree with Thich Nhat Hahn who says, “Peace in oneself, peace in the world.”
